A successful partnership

Aquatrol Ltd was founded by Managing Director Bob Judd in 2005. Fifteen years earlier Bob had been Managing Director of Stranco Europe; Stranco, a U.S company, was a major driving force behind an exciting and ever evolving global pool industry in the 1980’s.

In 2005 BECS, seeking a knowledgeable and well-respected pool industry executive, contacted Bob inviting him to become their European distributor. Bob’s vast experience and BECS’s quality products have proven to be a successful partnership and over the years Aquatrol has become a main stay of the U.K pool industry specialising in chemical dosing.

Aquatrol continues to grow and explore exciting opportunities and as of 2015 Aquatrol
has been the designated distributor of BECS in the Middle East.

BECS Technology

BECS has been designing and manufacturing the industry’s
most reliable and innovative water chemistry controllers for
more than 25 years.

Since 1991, BECS has designed and manufactured thousands of aquatic controllers, including the manufacture of System3, System4, System5, System5F, System6, and System7 controllers, marketed by Stranco, Inc. under the Strantrol® name.

In 2005, BECS introduced the BECSysTM line of water chemistry controllers, which includes the BECSys2, BECSys3, BECSys5, and BECSys7. While continuing the history of reliability within the industry, these new products offer a comprehensive set of features that redefine the standard for water chemistry controllers.

The BECS range

System 3

Introducing the newly enhanced BECSys3. While maintaining its easy-to-use and reliable legacy, the BECSys3 has been upgraded with a new look and new features. A big bright easy-to-read 2-line display assures current status can be easily monitored. The BECSys3 can accept a
direct free chlorine reading, so sanitiser control can be based upon a true PPM
value instead of ORP.

The BECSys7 sets a new standard for complete mechanical plant room control. All of the water chemistry features of
the BECSys5 are included, along with
the addition of a fully configurable automatic filter backwash control.
The BECSys7 can directly control up to
5 filters standard, which is expandable
up to 16. With BECS’s commitment to ongoing development, the BECSys7 is
the most advanced control system available in the aquatics market today.
